I really hate blogging, but sometimes I just can't help myself. I get irritated with some crap on the news, ha news that is crap. We don't get news anymore! We get peoples opinions, and you know what they say about opinions: They are like assholes, everybody has one!

Here's the Thing...
i am so sick of everyone blaming Obama for all that is wrong with this country. Duh, Bush and his dad and the other GOPs wrecked this nation. Bush wanted illegals to do his crappy work, it is HIS fault the borders are the way they are.
It is BUSH who drug us into Iraq, Afganistan, it was BUSH!!!!! Why the hell are people blaming Obama.
Obama could be Pres for 8 years and he probably still wouldn't be able to clean up the mess the republicans have made.
I wish you tea-baggers and idiots would shut the fuck up!

OH, it isn't Obama's fault the oil spill happened, again it was BUSH.

BUSH didn't do anything to help New Orleans, it is still a mess. I think that Obama should focus on the South for a year and straighten it all out!

Obama Awarded Nobel Peace Prize
This morning we all woke to the news that Barack Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. I applaud him! Of course there are those that think he just got it because he is popular. Which is crap.

If you look at the 8 years we had with Bush, and even longer if you add his daddy's stint as president, we certianly as a nation were NOT pursuers of peace, nor of DIPLOMACY in any sense of the word.
When Obama took office he made a concerted effort, and is still making that effort, to mend fences and open lines of communication with ALL nations of the world.
Bravo!
Our president hasn't completed a YEAR in office and he is being criticized for NOT meeting his campaign promises. Give the guy a break. He walked into a mess of giagantic proportions left by the republicans who dog Obama at every turn. Who could fix all that in 6 months?
At least he is trying, and we need to be supportive and give him time to work through all the government bullshit, to build alliances within the government - ours and internationally - he needs time.

It is JUST a START
Let the Senate pass their pitiful excuse for a healthcare reform package... it is just a start! Just because they pass something everyone thinks is stupid and benefits the insurance companies more than anyone, it doesn't mean that something more can't be done.
People are complaining that Obama started off compromising. Ok, so what if he did? Once the process of recreating our sorry system is started, additional changes can be made, over and over, until we get the heathcare we deserve and need.
Personally I think Obama is doing the right thing. Let the conservatives have their little victory. Then, make more and more changes. A little at a time if need be.
It may seem like it takes longer, but in reality it may bring us closer to what we want and need sooner than a comprehensive package with many, many items that no one will agree on.
